Sunrise November 21, 1949, Sunset May 29, 2023. Preceded in death by her parents, Ismael and Minita Ortiz and her brothers, Ismael Ortiz II and Orlando Ortiz. Beloved mother of Miguel A. Garcia Jr. (Roxanne), Ivett Guzmán, and Cesar “Benji” Guzmán II. Loving grandmother of Heather (Charles), Manuel, Kayla, Crisendia (Adan), Marcelino, Adrian, and Sofia. Dear sister of Angela (Aguedo), George, William, Edgardo, Carlos (Lynne), Erico, Rosemarie (Heriberto), Dantes (Keith), and Martha (Enoel). Special friend of Felipe Maldonado. Further loved by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 1927 North Vel Phillips Avenue Milwaukee, WI 53212 on Monday, June 5, 2023, 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Catholic Mass 11:00 AM-12:00 PM.

Norma enjoyed cooking for family and friends. She always had to be the hostess. She loved being surrounded by those she loved. Her concern and willingness to help others in need inspired her to pursue a career in social work.
