Phyllis Mirr

Departed this earthly plain on October 29, 2016, age 88, to join her husband, Cornelius (Neil) and children Greg, Wendy, Peter, great-granddaughter Emily and brother Richard Smykacz. Loving mother of Paul (Marcia) and Mark (Eileen). Dear grandmother of Michele (Marty) Johnson, Michael and great-grandmother to Mia, Max, and Mikayla. Further loved by other relatives and friends.

Gathering at Krause Funeral Home, 7001 West Brown Deer Road, Milwaukee on Sunday, November 6, 2016, from 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM. Memorial Service at 1:30 PM followed by reception.

Phyllis was a successful entrepreneur. Through her love of health and natural medicine, she and her husband were pioneers in the Health Food Industry, opening Mother Nature’s Food in Cudahy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to The Francis House. Phyllis’ family greatly appreciates the care and compassion of everyone from The Francis House, Franciscan Villa in South Milwaukee and Vitas Hospice.
