In the early morning of October 4, 2023, Mark Alan Hermundson age 65, died after a battle with cancer.

Mark was born in Prairie Du Sac, WI. He spent most of his childhood around Pewaukee Lake. After picking up a guitar at age 13, Mark went on to become a talented musician, singer, and song writer. Forming and playing in various rock bands; performing in and around South Central Wisconsin. An avid reader, Mark loved science fiction, and read and collected many books over his life.

After serving his time at Arrowhead High School Heartland WI, Mark enjoyed a stint in the U.S. Navy as an E4 serving from 1976 – 1979. He went on to technical school earning a degree in Industrial Engineering. Mark worked as a heavy equipment welder for most of his working life. Mark was also an excellent cook, according to him, and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Mark was proceeded in death by his father Darrell L. Hermundson, and his mother Marha Kay (Warren) Stuelke. Mark is survived by his sisters Laurie (Roland) Hermundson-Mahoney and Jayne Peter. His children, Ryan (Leslie) Hermundson, their children, Tamara, Amanda, Hope, Mason and Annalee. Julia (Matt) Savaski their children Logan, and Emily. Joe (Kayla) Hermundson their children Evellyn, Jaelynn, and Ashlynn. Samantha (Sammie) Anderson, and Kayla Hermundson.

A public burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
