Maralaine Schroder (née Ameen)
Found her peace with late husband John Schroder and three of her children Darlene, John, and Sharon on August 17, 2021, at the age of 100. Loving mother to Darlene (Edward), Sharon (Neil), John (Alyce), Robert (Jill), James (Patty), Donna (Curtis), Susan (Richard), Roger (Stephanie), and Nancy. Grandmother to seventeen, and great-grandmother to many.
Maralaine could always be found at the BINGO table with her many lucky trolls. When she was not out gallivanting to the stores she was working away making sure everyone in the family had a new set of crochet kitchen towels and dishrags. Maralaine was never short when a helping hand was needed whether it was a few bucks for gas or one of the children needed babysitting. Although she led a life of love and laughter, she also loved to keep things interesting. She traveled many places such as Las Vegas, Hawaii where her favorite experience was taking a helicopter ride into a volcano, and wherever the casino bus tours would take her.
She will be dearly missed.
The family would like to invite you to come celebrate her life at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield WI, 53005, in the Chapel of the Chimes, on Thursday, August 26, 2021. Visitation will be 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM. Funeral Service 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM. Committal Service to follow.

Grandma Mar was such a joy, her humor incredible and her spitfire personality taught me much about living life to the fullest. As her caregiver, it was such an honor to know and care for this wonderful lady who will be dearly missed. Two for Love Maralaine!
