Went home to the arms of Jesus on Saturday, October 27th, 2018, at the tender age of 64.
She was born in Milwaukee, WI on Saturday, March 20th, 1954, to Willard and Janet (Schilling) White. Raised in Milwaukee, Linda adored her surroundings, and her love for the beauty in life took her many places. In her early years, she spent her time traveling the United States with her parents and brother. She was a very talented seamstress, who could sew like nobody’s business. When she wasn’t sewing, she could be found at the Boerner Botanical Gardens, or at the Brown Deer pond, always ready for a swim. She enjoyed watching old time movies from the 40s, and was an experienced camper, bike rider, and most of all, a friend to anyone in need. Her personality resonated through as a shining light that was glamorous, classy, and always in style. She had the best sense of humor, and always loved to laugh. Although she has taken her smile and laughter to be with Jesus, her louder than life personality will forever be remembered in the minds of those who adored her.
In addition to her loving parents, Linda will be dearly missed by her best friend and daughter, Ariel (Luis) Hernandez, and grandchildren, Hayden McDonald, and Jamie, Juliet, and Joseph Hernandez. She will always be loved by her brother, Michael White (Patrice Bottoni). Linda is also survived by many other dear family and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff at Froedtert Hospital, St. Luke’s Hospital, Community Care, and Bria at Trinity Village Nursing Home. They would also like to extend a special gratitude to Christine Peterson-Watts, the Community Care nurse practitioner who always treated Linda like she was family.
You must make the most beautiful angel. You were the wind beneath my wings. Rest easy now, mom. Three squeezes.
Services for Linda will take place on Saturday, November 17, 2018.
