Found her peace on Thursday, November 14, 2019, age 48. Wife of Steven Pinkerton and daughter of Sharon Ann Schramek and the late Guy Martin Johnson. She will be missed by many other relatives and friends who loved her. She adored her cats, Leon and Mathilda, almost as much as she loved most people.
Jennifer was witty, intelligent, irreverent, inquisitive, caring and funny. She lived with bipolar disorder but still managed to receive a BA from Alverno College and was inches away from completing her master’s degree at Mount Mary. She went on to serve her community by working as a Youth Counselor with teens in crisis. She was passionate about social justice and always took the side of the underdog.
Jennifer enjoyed creating and viewing art. She often boasted that she knew all the paintings at the Milwaukee Art Museum by name. Her creative side included writing short stories, drawings, jewelry making, quilting, and various other inspired projects. It was her dream to move to Paris and become a writer.
She loved traveling. Jennifer visited Europe several times with her mother, stepmother and her husband. Paris was her favorite spot – she knew French and was Parisienne by nature. She and Steve planned to visit Scotland next May.

We see your face and we remember how playful you were. We remember how much love you had for your Mom and the way you and she would put your heads together to share a little giggle together at family dinners, so cute. You accepted hugs from me and showed your beautiful smile of yours to all of us. You are loved and remain loved forever, by Aunt Nancy and Uncle Neal and our family always.
