Jean Fahrnow (Schneider), 60, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, unexpectedly passed away on July 25, 2023. Jean was born on May 5th, 1963, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Clarence Schneider and Dorothy Keller (Bauman). Jeany is preceded in death by her father (Clarence Schneider), her mother (Dorothy Keller) who she loved and missed dearly, as well as her brother Jerry Schneider. She resided in Milwaukee, Wisconsin until her recent passing. Jean loved camping, cooking, being outdoors, gardening, spending time with her family, and any chance she could be with her 2 children Brian and Erich Fahrnow. Jean had a unique and contagious sense of humor that anyone who knew her loved. She always had a way to make someone laugh and smile. Jean is survived by her two children: Brian Fahrnow of Milwaukee, and Erich Fahrnow of Hartford, Wisconsin, and her ex-husband Dale Fahrnow. They were married on August 10th,1984, and were married for 23 years, and had many great memories together that Jean often spoke about and cherished with their two sons. Jean came from a large family with 7 brothers, and 3 sisters, that she loved deeply. Her sister, Susie Klinger (Schneider) owned with her husband “Klinger’s East Tavern” in Milwaukee, that Jean had once lived above and had many good times with her family. Dear sister of Mary Lou June (Schneider), Kathy Olson (Schneider), and David Schneider, who owns a family tavern that Jean loved to visit with close friends and family, located in Milwaukee at 76th Street and Nash called “Schneider’s”, Terry Schneider, Craig Schneider, Robert Schneider, Dicky Schneider, Chuck Schneider and the late Jerry Schneider. She will be missed by her best friend of over 30 years, Lynn Farenholz Sobczak, who she shared great memories with, and often spoke about. She is also survived by friends: Rusty Van Slett, Randy Van Slett, Kari Reff, Nicole Nielsen, Samuel Guitterez, Cory “Red” Stewart, and many others. Jeany will be deeply missed by her children, family and friends and anyone who had the honor to get to know her and the love and affection she had always showed.

A Celebration of Life for Jean will be held on Tuesday, August 8th, 2023, at The Squirrel Cage tavern located at 2402 North Dousman Street Milwaukee, Wisconsin, from 12:00 PM until 9:00 PM. All friends and family who know her are welcome to join. Family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations appreciated to the family to help with expenses.

Jean’s sons Brian and Erich would like to send a special thank you to all of Jeany’s brothers and her sister for helping organize her memorial get together, as well as The Squirrel Cage Tavern  and Regal Begal Bar for their love and support during this difficult time. Thank you!
