Entered heavenly peace on Friday, October 1, 2021, at the graceful age of 69, in Milwaukee, WI.  Born in Puerto Rico on November 3, 1951 and grew up in her beloved hometown of Guaynabo Barrio de Mamey.  The amazing mother, of Nishia Cotto (Michael Highshaw) and Sugeil Cotto. Dear grandmother of Michael Cornelius, Nyesha Highshaw, and Machello Highshaw.  Proud great- grandmother of Jasiel Cornelius.  Sister of Cheo-Jose Hernandez Jr., Watusi-Carmen Correa (Renee Correa) and further mourned by many relatives and friends.  Met at heaven’s gate by her grandchildren Josue Gold, Emil Dixon, great- granddaughter Emiliany Cornelius, husband Robert Rosario, parents Francisca Melendez, Jose Hernandez “Pepin”( Gregoria”Goyita”) as well as many close relatives and loved ones.

Gloria was a hardworking woman that cared for others until retirement.  She lived a life full of joy that was felt everywhere she went.  Those that had the pleasure of being in her presence had the opportunity to enjoy her singing,  great cooking,  laughter, love and kindness.  She valued the Lord, her family and friends especially those friends that became family.  She will truly be missed.

Celebrate joyfully in heaven with your loved ones. We love you endlessly, until we meet again.
