Crispus Attucks "Battleship" Martin I

Crispus Attucks Martin I, known affectionately as “Battleship” passed away on May 31, 2018, age 76 years old. He was a loving father, grandfather, proud Navy veteran, gifted construction engineer and enthusiastic storyteller. Crispus was loved by many and will be greatly missed. His stories of traveling all over the world and his special dishes are only a few of the things that he will be remembered for. He is lovingly survived by his children, Mikaela, Tehira and Crispus Attucks II, grandchildren, Isaiah and Micaiah, sister Phyllis Harris and a host of relatives and friends. In keeping with his wishes to not have a funeral or memorial service, Military Honors will be held on Thursday, July 19 at 1:00 PM at Wood Cemetery, 5000 West National Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53295. Because of his love for the ocean, sea and ships, his ashes will be taken to Key West, FL and a headstone will be placed in the Key West Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
