It is with deepest sorrow we announce the passing of Christopher Volz (Chris) on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, age 31. Loving father of Steven and Kristopher. Beloved son of Rhonda and the late James Volz. Special brother of Benjamin and Jonathan. Dear caring nephew, cousin and friend. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Janice (nee Wrench) Volz and Robert and Ruthmary (nee Sperstad) Yant.

Chris was a lifelong resident of Brookfield, graduating from Brookfield Central High School and studied at WCTC. He was an avid cyclist tackling the back trails of Waukesha and Vilas Counties. Christopher was happiest outdoors splitting wood, building the perfect camp fire, grilling steaks and laughing with his sons.

Chris was a hard worker, highly valued for the diversity of his experience, expertise, excitement in developing and mastering new skills, independence, and work ethic.

Chris will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. A shining star is lost to the universe.
