Carole Y. Klevesahl (nee Stanelle)
Heaven opened its gates for Carole to enter on June 2, 2023. She was born on April 28th, 1935 and was the cherished daughter of Corbin and Clara (nee Meyer) Stanelle. She was the loving, caring and proud mother of Robin Enea, Carrie Christen (Swede), Jon (Tracy) Klevesahl and Kristi (Patrick) Cole. She was blessed with 11 grandchildren she loved dearly – Matthew (Amy), Michael, Erik (Melanie) and the late Michele Christen, Kristin (Dan), Anthony and Ryan Enea, Clara (Richard) and Hanna (Josh) Cole and Kyle and Kaylee Klevesahl. She is also survived by precious great- granddaughters Anna and Emilie Christen. Carole was preceded in death by her husband John, brothers Corbin and Warren Stanelle, and sister Joyce Murray. Further survived by other relatives and friends.
Carole was born and raised and lived in Glendale, Wisconsin, most of her life. She graduated from Custer High School in 1953. She then went to the School of Cosmetology and spent many years working in several beauty salons. Her talents in knitting, crocheting and crafts have left her family with memories of the many things she made. Carole was a huge sports fan! She loved the Packers, Badgers and Brewers and tried to never miss a game on TV. She attended several games of each in her younger years.
For Carole, family was the most important thing in her life. She loved her children and grandchildren, “More than words can express,” as she put it. She felt God truly blessed her. Carole was an amazing mom who had a great sense of humor and enjoyed life to its fullest. She was a strong independent woman who lived on her own for many years. Carole will be dearly missed, but as she shared with her family, “Do not mourn my death…celebrate my life!”
