Barbara worked her career at JC Penney Catalog for over three decades. She loved animals, especially her numerous dogs and horses. Barbara made friends everywhere she lived – Milwaukee, Atlanta and even Cedarburg in her last months. She spent her last months at Lasata Health Center in Cedarburg. A special thank you to Lasata’s staff for making her stay, while only a short four months, one of care, concern and new friendships.
In lieu of flowers memorials to the Wisconsin Humane Society are appreciated.

I remember Barb bringing home her horse. In the yard was a big apple tree where a few neighbor kids came to see the horse. One of them asked what kind of apples they were, Barbara's dad said "they are horse apples" Barb was probably 16, I was maybe 12.
