Donya Monique Coleman, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin was born on November 8th, 1969. She was called into her heavenly home on Sunday, April 14th, 2024, at the age of 54. Donya was proceeded in death by her parents Connie Fae Coleman and William Coleman. She is survived by her children Zaniah Robinson and Caleb Allen, Aunt and uncle Donald and Elizabeth Glisper, Uncle Jerrel Malone, cousin Damion (Amy) Glisper, Tarah (Jeremiah) McVey, Christopher (Dee Dee) Glisper, Isaiah Glisper, Ana Glisper, Jonah McVey, Kylah Mcvey, Christopher Glisper Jr., Mai’Lahni Glisper, Mahkai Glisper, and many other family members and dear friends.
Donya was baptized into Christ at Mount Carmel Baptist Church and remained in her baptismal grace throughout her life until she reached her eternal life through faith in Christ Jesus. She had a smile that lit up every room she entered and a personality that was joyful, loving, and caring. Donya could be counted on to bring laughter everywhere she went as she loved to tell jokes and a humorous story. She loved her family and was always there to support her loved ones. A close second to the love she had for her family was her love for her friends of whom there are too many to count. Donya also loved music, it didn’t seem to matter which genre of music was playing, she seemed to know every word to every song that was playing at that time. She also loved movies, especially her favorite genre, horror films.
Donya attended Atonement Lutheran grade school and graduated in 1983. After graduating from Atonement, she attended Wisconsin Lutheran High School and graduated in 1987. She spent many years working as a CNA but also worked as a Pharmacy Tech and at Atonement Lutheran School’s early childhood center.
Donya will be sorely missed by all those who came to know the person that God made her to be. We look forward to the day when we are reunited with her in heaven for all of eternity.
