Frances Marie "Fran" Casebeer

Casebeer, Frances M.

(nee Schafer) Found her peace on Friday, August 11, 2023, at the age of 66.  Beloved wife of Daniel R. Casebeer Sr. for 35 years.  Beloved mother of Destiney (fiancé’ Michael Ronkowski) and Daniel R. Casebeer Jr. Loving sister to Donald Schafer and Barb (late husband, Bill) Frick. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Margaret Schafer.  Further survived by many friends and family.

Fran was a very giving person.  Even though she didn’t have much, she always gave what she could to bless others.  She loved talking to people and could strike up a conversation with anyone.  Fran loved anything rainbow and even had a rainbow wedding with all her bridesmaids each wearing the different colors of the rainbow. She loved her sweets. One of Fran’s annual traditions was going to Gilles Frozen Custard on St. Patrick’s Day and having their Jameson flavor of the day.  Getting Fran to stop eating them often proved challenging because she was a Type 2 diabetic. Singing to music was one of Fran’s favorite things to do. Fran was an avid lover of parades, going to festivals and the State Fair.  Even though Fran could be very opinionated, she was deeply loved and will be deeply missed.

Her family would like to give a special thank you to all the nurses, aids and doctors who cared for Fran on the 12^th floor at St. Luke’s and Southpoint Healthcare Center. Although we didn’t expect to have to say goodbye so early, we are comforted to know that she is at rest.
