William Louis Zahn

Born December 31, 1937, Bill entered immortality at 7:32 PM on Friday, September 27, 2019, age 81. Beloved husband to Lori for 60 years, adored daddy-o to Jen (Scott) Norris, and proud poobah (grandpa) to Sam. Further loved by sister Barbara Dunn, step-siblings Robert Brackett (Bill was always so proud of you, dear younger brother!), Judy Kurtin, and many other family members. Cherished friend to members of the Mountain Drive Gang, Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity, Westmoor Country Club, Marking Device Association, Riverside High School, Holy Rosary, and others. Preceded in death by brother-in-law John (Jack) Dunn and step-sister Bonnie Morin.

Visitation  at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 18255 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield on Thursday, October 10, 2019,  11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Mass 1:00 PM. Private Committal at Holy Cross. Light refreshments at St Dominic’s Marcy Center (lower level of church) following the committal. You are welcome to return, or wait until the family returns. Please join us to celebrate Bill’s life and share tall tales. Memorials appreciated to St. Dominic Catholic Church, St Vincent de Paul Society, or the family.

Bill was an avid fisherman, hunter, reader, and golfer. If he wasn’t working, or out playing cards with friends, you likely would see him tending to the rosebushes and yard, or grilling something delicious out back while sipping a CC Manhattan on the rocks with a cherry. Well-known for his sense of humor, and for being a savvy, respected, and kind businessman and neighbor. We will love you forever!
