Stephens Jr., William ‘Billy’ George born November 30, 1955, in Rockford, Illinois. Died June 12, 2019, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Preceded in death by his parents William and Carmen Stephens and Jack the wonder dog. He will be greatly missed by daughter, Courtney (Ryan) Dirks and son William (Lisa); grandchildren Amelia and Maxwell Dirks, Jackson and Makenzie Stephens, and greatly anticipated 5th grandchild due in November; brothers Mark (Cheryl), John (Karen), Michael (Teri) Matthew (Sharon), countless friends and beloved dog Jonny.
Please come have a laugh with family and friends of Bill, at an open house between 3:00 PM– 7:00 PM with a short ceremony at 5:00 PM on Friday, June 28, 2019, at Billy and Lisa’s house or Saturday, July 6, 2019, at 1:00 PM at The Newport, 939 E Conway Street, Milwaukee, WI 53207. Don’t dress up, he’d hate that.

I remember so may times when Bill would walk through the doors at FJA Christiansen Roofing's field office, always smiling and with a funny comment of some sort that lit up the room. We would talk about the weather, roofing, or whatever and he made my day that much better every time we met. He would ask "what's Kenny working on today?" Then we would talk about Kenny's ideas and creations, etc. Bill always left our place that much better than when he arrived. What a blessing I received every time Bill came around to visit!
