Former Menominee resident went to be with her Lord on May 31, 2020, age 69. Preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Elaine Strem and sister Susan Strem of Menominee. Wendy is survived by daughter Sara Miller (Tom)Warner and grandchildren Mazzy and Boden Warner of Brookfield, Wisconsin, son Matthew Miller of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and sister Julie Strem of Marinette.

Wendy graduated with honors from Michigan State University in education in 1972 and began a long career in education at Okemos, Michigan, Midland, Michigan, and Menominee, Michigan. She retired in 1996. Wendy’s distinguished career in teaching and guidance counseling touched many young lives as did her professionalism.

Wendy moved to the Milwaukee area to be near daughter Sara and family. She enjoyed her grandchildren and numerous kittens loved sunny days, nature, reading, and everything about teaching most of all her students. Her sense of humor, tireless determination, and daily pep talks will be deeply and irreplaceably missed.
