Sandra “Tammy” Norment, 54, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away on April 17, 2024. She was born on September 10, 1969 to Betty and Ernest Norment in Toledo, OH. She was the oldest of three, preceding Regina and LeShonda. She was the second of Ernest’s nine children. Her family also included her God-parents Patricia and William, and God-siblings Marquetta, William, Sherry and Terry (Donald), Tracy, Elsenior, and Jeanette.
Tam was devoted to her family. She adored her children; Shenita, Richard, LaRiche, Jada, Jonathan and Johnny, and was blessed with twelve grandkids, Tamyra, Shakela, JaLeah, Zoey, Johnny Jr., Kynadee, Taraji. Jennifer, Damien, Olivia, Journee, and Zamara.
Friends describe Tam as “fun-loving, adventurous, and full of life.” She was a gifted cook. Her thoughtful and innovative meals truly fed the soul. She loved music with Gospel fueling her trust in the Lord.
Tammy was predeceased by her father Ernest, mother/best friend Betty, and her sister Sharon. She is survived by so many including her six children, twelve grandchildren, eight sisters and brothers.
Services will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 7001 West Brown Deer Road, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on April 22, 2024 with visitation from 12:00 PM – 1:45 PM, followed by a service at 2:00 PM.
