Ronnie J. Jones was born on May 15, 1967, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to JJ Jones-Harrison and the late Kenneth Downey. Ronnie accepted Christ as his savior at Mt. Zion GOGIC under the leadership of Elder E. Blakely. He was a lead member of the Usher Board.
Ronnie started his formal education at Milwaukee Public School. In 1984, he moved to Minnesota and graduated in Business Clerical in1986 from Hubert Humphrey Job Corps. He worked for Rivertown Trading, then went to work for American Express in the HR Dept. He then changed his career to work in Management in retail and customer service.
Ronnie, also known as “Auto,” is fondly remembered for his infectious love and heartwarming smile. He enjoyed cooking, dressing nicely, drawing, and spending time with family and friends. It’s undeniable that he was one of Prince’s biggest fans. He was the life of every party and a caring soul who looked after his fellow human.
Ronnie truly lived his life by 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 NIV
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
