Bob Schieble went to be with the Lord on February 28, 2020, at the age of 83.  He had been in the hospital two weeks before and then rallied enough on the 23rd and 24th (his birthday) that he was able to come home last Tuesday.  On Thursday, he started to be short of breath again and he knew that he didn’t have much more time here.  His children who live in the area and even some from Florida and Mexico flew up to be with him for his last day on Friday.  He took his last few breaths very peacefully late in the afternoon.

Bob is survived by his wife, Linda and the wife of his 11 children Marilyn.  His children are Kathy Kostrivas, Robert, Susan, Patricia, Pamela Knox, Mary Liniewski, Anne Barr, John, Joseph, Christine Arnold, and Elizabeth Chairez.  In addition, he has 2 step-children, Paula Thomas and Ann Schieble.  His 22 grandchildren are Colleen, Michael, Kaitlin, Jaime, Jeffrey, Kimberly, Samantha, Susie, Rachel, Gabrielle, Marielle, Nicholas, John Jr., Jessica, Nathaniel, Victoria, Ashley, Alyssa, Taylor, Paige, Megan, and Sophia.  His step-grandchildren are Justin, Adam, Dominick.  He also has 12 great-grandchildren and 1 step great-grandchild.  We can’t forget his favorite buddy, Jet.

Bob retired from DCI Marketing where he was the Building and Grounds Manager.  He has too numerous to count friends and other relatives.  Everywhere he went he met somebody that he knew.

His smile was contagious and he was always willing to help anyone in any way that he possibly could.  He loved going to family parties, vacations and just staying home in his hot tub or working in his garden.

He is already missed by us all, but we have great memories of him to carry with us through the rest of our lives.

According to Bob’s wishes, there will be no funeral, but there will be a Celebration of His Life party this summer.
