We mourn the loss of Patricia “Pattie” Maciosek who departed from this world on February 24, 2024. Born on January 17, 1951, Patricia was known for her infectious spirit and her unwavering resilience. She was a woman of strong character who preferred being called Patricia but was fondly known by many as Pattie.

Patricia is survived by her beloved daughter, Jennifer Wentland, her son-in-law, Juan Acevedo, her cherished grandchildren, Cody and Morgan (Jena) Acevedo, and her great-granddaughters Shyanne Euclide and Kendyll Acevedo. Her brother Kenneth (Cheryl) Wentland, and many beloved nieces, and nephews. Patricia was predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Rose Wentland, and her sister Beverly (Melvin) Krutz.

A viewing to celebrate the life of Patricia will be held on March 8, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Krause Funeral Home, 7001 W Brown Deer Road. Friends, family, and those whose lives were touched by Patricia are invited to pay their respects and share their memories of her.

Patricia had a zest for life and took pleasure in the simple things. Amongst her favorite things were a good steak, color by number books, and music by The Beatles and disco. She was an ardent fan of WWE Wrestling and Days of Our Lives. A loyal supporter of The Green Bay Packers, Patricia was also fond of playing card games. Her love for the outdoors was evident in her enjoyment of fishing and camping. Wheelchair bowling was a favorite pastime in her younger years.

She was passionate about causes she held dear, such as the ASPCA and her Zoo Sponsorship. She was characterized by her delightful personality, described as witty, caring, compassionate, loving, and thoughtful. Teal was her favorite color, which seemed to reflect her vibrant spirit. Patricia’s life ethos was to never give up the fight, no matter how difficult life gets, a lesson that she imparted to those around her.

Throughout her life, Patricia was a social butterfly, making friends everywhere she went. Her love for life, people, and food even extended to Galileo, who will probably lose weight now without his Nana to sneak him food.

Patricia’s legacy will be her unwavering strength and loving spirit. Her memory will be cherished by those who knew and loved her, and her lively spirit will be missed.
