Patricia L. Dano of Milwaukee, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 16th, 2026 at the age of 87 with loving members of her family by her side.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Donald Dano, parents Fred and Janet Mleczek, siblings Donald Mleczek and Sande Yunk and her beloved cats Jerry, KatKat, Fred and Barney.

She was so very much loved by her children Mike (Sue), Donna (Greg), Dianne and Lorie. Dear grandmother of Jackie (Russ), Trish (Rick), Jenni, Brittney (Dan), Brandon (Renee). Proud Great-Grandma of Jonah, Julia, Malayeh, Charlie, Bella, Oliver, Owen & Olivia. Further loved by other relatives & friends.

Pat’s biggest passion was reading, until this disease took her ability of comprehension and memory. She also loved spending time with her family, taking cruises, watching Everybody Loves Raymond & Days of Our Lives.

She would do anything for her family, and could be silly & fun loving after a couple Twisted Tea’s. She was also like a second mother to some of her children’s friends. They loved her like a mother.

A heartfelt thank you to all the people who supported her in her journey and especially Heartland Hospice for all their compassionate care of this beloved woman.

There will be no formal services. A private memorial for the immediate family will be held. If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the Humane Society of Wisconsin would be appreciated, as she cherished her animals.

You will be in our hearts and minds forever and be loved and missed more than words can say.
