Mike, although not by birth, you were the only brother I ever had. We shared some good times together and I will never forget your unique ability to make people around you smile. You were an earthly gift from God, may God now cradle you in his arms. Till we meet again, rest in peace.

Mike always had good things to say. A positive, smart, highly accomplished role model. Very fortunate to have known him. His spirit will remain and inspire.

Our deepest condolences. Mike was an amazing colleague and always up for a good laugh when working on accounts with him. A fun person and full of character. I will miss him deeply and wish his family lots of strength in those hard times.

I am so sorry we are unable to attend. My memories of growing up with Mike and our adventures on the farm will always bring me joy and keep him alive in me.

Dear Scernc Family, We are absolutely devastated with the news of Mikes passing. We have not seen him in a while but his smile was always bright. He had an amazing family We worked with Mike in the Air Wisconsin days at the airport. Jim at Air Wis. and me next door at Northwest. We would all meet on Mondays for a beer after work. And started the Monday nights get club. We all have nicknames. And when Mike went to Avis we named him Trader. Fun times with wonderful memories Prayers to you all. And what a void this is in all our lives

I was Mikes customer here at Zebra Technologies and work with him for several year. I knew him only through work, but quickly realized he was a trustworthy person, who had a great personality and attitude toward life. I will defiantly miss our conversations. RIP.

I worked in FWA,ORD,DEN for Air Willy 20 years and knew Mike just about that long He was always positive with a smile. He will be missed

Hearing that Mike has passed, has left me, his pal, aghast. My high school best of friends, fond memories of you will last. School dances, parties, and games, chasing girls, sports, and fame. Class valedictorian/Swim captain, 15 year old drivers, in fog and rain. Your big old smile and laughs galore, made those years so happy, to me and more. A while back I asked Mike for a memory of our grandma's house. He replied, everyone standing in the front yard waving at whoever was leaving until they were out of sight. Here's to you, my dear cousin

I graduated high school with Mike and he was always the most friendliest guy. Lots of memories hanging out with him and so sorry to hear of his passing.

Respect & friendship says it best about Mike. I was lucky enough to work w/ him @ Avis. He was always, always there to help in anyway he could. Such a dedicated man to Avis. I was lucky enough to be invited to go along to meetings & networking w/ him. I learned a lot from him. But most of his qualities which were many, could not be learned because it came from within. Naturally. Cool, professional, kind, always a smile when he would stop by the Avis in Libertyville. He will be missed, I will always smile when I think of him. I thought so highly of you Mike. May you Rest In Peace.
