Kimberly Ann Jends (nee Lipinski), age 63, passed away on May 26, 2026, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, after a courageous fight. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Thomas Lee Jends, and her son, Andrew Jends (Caitlin Santos-Lule), as well as Sophia and Ava.
Kim was the beloved daughter of Richard and Arelene Lipinski (nee Sayen). She is also survived by her sister, Joanne Lipinski Krueger (Mike Cummings); her brother, Glen Lipinski (Raquel Stoddard); her aunt, Carol Derouin, and uncle, John Derouin; her uncle, Mike Lipinski, and aunt, Shirley Lipinski; her niece, Amie Jends Hensel (Kyle); her great-nieces; a nephew; cousins; and many dear friends.
Kim found great joy in caring for her family, spending time at her summer home in Pound, Wisconsin, and keeping her homes tidy—she truly loved to clean. She treasured long conversations with her father and enjoyed traveling with her mother. Their yearly trips through Wisconsin and Upper Michigan, where they explored the region’s beauty, brought her great happiness, along with cherished time with family and the occasional glass of merlot.
Kim was a dedicated legal administrative assistant who took great pride in her work. Over the course of her long career, she provided valued support to Attorney Dan Miller and Attorney Katherine Kuchen at Hall, Render, Killian, Heath & Lyman. She began her career working with Attorney Mike (Myron) Joseph at Charne Glassner.
Kim will be remembered for her loving heart, quiet strength, and the deep care she gave to her family. Her memory will live on in the lives of all who loved her.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the medical and non-medical staff of Froedtert Hospital’s CVICU for their excellent care and compassion.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
