Kathy Ann (Clinkenbeard) Pilon “Punky”
September 9, 1956 – November 4, 2022
Kathy age 66, was unexpectedly taken to the Lord, on November 4, 2022. She is survived by her significant other Frederick W. Vergenz of 41 years, brother Scott Clinkenbeard and wife Paula (Reis) Clinkenbeard, sister Linda (Clinkenbeard) White, niece Lindsay White and daughter Gaby, and nephew Kory White. Preceded in death by her parents Harold and Shirley Clinkenbeard and brother-in-law Dave White.
Kathy was born in Milwaukee WI and graduated from West Allis Central. She met Fred at the East Troy Trolley Museum. At that time, she had been staying with her sister and Dave White who volunteered with Fred in train service at the Trolley Museum. Kathy and Fred hit it off, love at first sight and they were a couple until her passing. Kathy had epilepsy and could not drive, so she would travel with Fred to his railroad hobby groups, where Kathy could interact with people and volunteer her time. She was active in volunteering in the following groups: The Wisconsin Electric Railway Historical Society, Badgerland S. Gaugers, Little Amerricka Whiskey River Railway, Arborway TT & Northwestern Railroad (in MO), and the Mid-Continent Railway Museum.
Kathy liked to travel with Fred on vacations.
Punky made friends everywhere she went, including local restaurants. Because she could not drive, she looked forward to going out to eat when Fred got done with work, just to get out of the house. She would spend more time talking at the restaurants then eating.
She also loved her kitties. She had four different cats in her lifetime as pets, Tippy, Romeo, Peake, and Foxy,
Kathy was well known by family and friends for her hugs, smiling face, and laugh!
A celebration of life gathering to take place at a future date.

I knew Kathy and Fred from our E.T.T.M days. She and Fred seemed a perfect match. She always seemed cheerful and glad to see whoever they met. I never knew her to be upset or in a sour mood. She will be missed, but her memory will stay with us forever. R.I.P.
