Entered into Eternal Life on Sunday, January 12, 2020, at the age of 80.  Beloved husband of Rita R. Szyka (Laurent) of 35 years.  Loving father of Douglas (Lynn) Kluth, Claire Szyka, and Joshua Szyka.  Grandfather of Emma Kluth (forever Grandpa’s treasure), William Kluth, Connor Kluth, and Xavier Szyka.

Memorial service to be held at Calvary Chapel of Milwaukee, 7368 North Teutonia Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53209 on Friday, January 17 at 6:30 PM.

Above all else, Joe loved and served Jesus honoring his promises and convictions.  He was technically minded leading to successful careers as both a foreign car mechanic and a boiler technician until retirement.  He loved to pass those skills on to anyone who wanted to learn.  There wasn’t anything he couldn’t devise a fix for with a rusty bolt and some epoxy.

He supported others with both his generous giving and self-sacrifice.  He was an avid reader of biblical and technical texts and enjoyed watching Youtube as a source of knowledge and entertainment as he got older.

We believe “Grandpa is happy because now he can talk to God”.  You are loved and will be greatly missed.
