Janice Gray

Janice Gray (nee Ebert) 86, found eternal peace on Saturday, May 6, 2023.

Janice was born October 3, 1936 in Rosendale WI. Shortly thereafter, her family moved to a dairy farm near Fond du Lac where she was raised. She married Raymond Gray on June 9, 1956 and they resided in New Berlin. Janice delighted in raising her 3 children, always being the first to volunteer as a chaperone for school trips.  She also enjoyed hosting sleepovers and birthday parties, as well as driving her children and their friends to sporting events and practice.  Janice loved her career, which began after her children were older, starting as an administrative assistant for USF & G, and then working for a market research firm.  She worked well into hers 80’s!  Her interests included reading and crossword puzzles. Janice was an avid Brewers fan and rarely missed a game on the radio.

Janice was preceded in death by her late husband, Raymond, her parents Eldred and Bernice Ebert, brothers Jon (Lila) and Rodney (Garda), son William (Kelley), daughter Mary, and granddaughter Caroline (Michael) Hickey. She is survived by her son Michael (Marie), sister Melissa (David) Ridley, grandchildren James (Marty), Michelle (David) Jansen, Madelyn, and Catie (Kyle) Weisman, as well as (6) great grandchildren. Janice was further loved and is survived by many other relatives and friends.
