Ione Carrol Trachsel

Passed away peacefully on August 18, 2016 at the age of 85.

Ione was born March 7, 1931 in Milwaukee Wisconsin and was the oldest of three children. She graduated from North Division High School, where she played cymbals in the marching band. After earning a degree from MATC, she worked as an Occupational Therapist at the Milwaukee County Mental Health center until her retirement in 1996.

Ione loved to travel, spend time with her granddaughter, volunteer at the Hales Corners library, sing, dine out and,  in  her   own   words,  “spend money.”

She will be missed by her friends and family, especially by her son Jon (Audra) Baade and her beloved granddaughter Brianna Baade.

An informal gathering to celebrate her life will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI on August 29th, 2016 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
