I have an unspoken love for you. Dad you were my hero and now you are my angel.

You used to have the most amazing humor. You were wise if we were going through something and you gave us the best advice to get through it. We watched movies together and would talk about good movies. That was something we shared in common and our love of sports. You would joke on how Darryl got me to be a trader from Chicago  sports to Milwaukee sports. I will miss you and Darryl joking with each other on the phone. He would say what’s up old man. Then you would reply back with a joke about him being so young.

I feel your wings were ready but our hearts were not. There is lost time that I won’t ever be able to get back, but I can cherish the  happy memories that I had with you. Now I find myself watching videos of you and looking at old photos.

You are finally with God. It does not stop me from missing you. I will miss our morning chats and our night calls on my way home from work. I pray you are happy and enjoying your time in heaven. I am sure God is enjoying your dad jokes like we did. I remember  the day we came to see you and you asked me for a hug. I wanted to cry. I hope you are resting daddy.

I love you and miss you so much.
