Georgia Wallace was born on August 30, 1960, in Chicago, Illinois. She was the eighth child of nine children, whose parents, oldest sister, and brother preceded her in death.

Georgia Wallace was born on August 30, 1960, in Chicago, Illinois. She was the eighth child of nine children, whose parents, oldest sister, and brother preceded her in death.

 

Georgia was raised in the Baptist faith and found great comfort in singing gospel hymns. One of her favorite songs was “Jesus on the Main Line.”

 

Georgia attended Oakenwald South Public School and then Martin Luther King High School. She moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 2000.

 

Georgia always displayed a sincere affectionate concern towards the elderly who she knew personally and in general.

 

Georgia’s beautiful smile, the light in her eyes, and her joyous laughter could automatically cause a shift in the atmosphere.

 

On March 5, 2021, God called her back home.

 

Georgia leaves many family to mourn her transition: her sons Tony Carter Jr. (wife Tereasa and son Djimon), Mark Jr., and Marquell Wallace (sons Marsawn and Isaiah Cotton). Her six living siblings are Frazier (Barbra) Allan, Willie (Dusty) Hudson, Corean Hudson, David Everett, Robert (Carol) Tucker, and Joseph Tucker. Georgia also leaves to mourn a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives and friends.

 

With deep sadness and sorrow, Georgia’s warm presence will surely be missed.
