In Loving Memory of Erica Lynn Wagner
Born on April 13, 1981, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and passing away on January 9, 2025, Erica Lynn Wagner lived a life defined by love, creativity, and unwavering generosity. Her warm spirit and kind heart touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. Erica brought light to even the darkest places and leaves behind a legacy of selflessness and devotion.
From a young age, Erica lived to serve others. Her life’s purpose was rooted in caring for those who needed it most. She found her calling as a certified nursing assistant, working in senior living and group homes, where she became a source of comfort and compassion for so many. But Erica’s generosity didn’t end with her career. She lived with an open heart, giving freely even when she had little for herself. Her love was abundant, her loyalty unshakable, and her kindness truly unmatched.
Erica was a creative and nurturing soul who had an extraordinary ability to make the world around her beautiful. She loved using makeup as her canvas, transforming her face into stunning works of art that reflected her vibrant and playful spirit. Her creativity also extended into her home, where she crafted beautiful décor and furniture that turned ordinary spaces into places full of warmth and love. But one of her greatest joys was cooking delicious meals for her children. Erica had a natural gift for making food that brought her family together, filling their home with the smell of love and comfort. Every meal she made was an expression of her care, creating cherished moments that her family will hold in their hearts forever.
Above all, Erica’s greatest love was her family. Her children were the center of her world, and she gave them every part of herself. She leaves behind nine beloved children: Dea’veon, Bre’onna, Brion Jr., Aries, Asjia, Allure, Ariel, Miracle, and Sr’King. Erica was also a devoted grandmother to three beautiful grandchildren: India, A’zaria, and Zelaya. Her love reached far beyond her immediate family to her cherished nieces and nephews, including Randi, Kosey, and Madison, and her countless friends who became family. She is survived by her devoted parents, Sherrie and Lee, her sister Nichole, and her brother Lee. Erica now rests in Heaven, reunited with her angel baby Sr’King and her brother Michael, where she continues to watch over her family with boundless love.
Erica often said, “Long hair, don’t care.” What once seemed like a playful phrase now feels like a window into her soul—a reminder of her resilience, her ability to rise above life’s challenges, and her unwavering faith in God’s blessings. Erica was a woman who carried life’s burdens with grace and turned every struggle into a lesson of love. She leaves behind a world that is brighter, more beautiful, and forever touched by her presence.
