Emma Lee Dudek passed away on February 26, 2018, at the age of 30.

Emma attended Mother of Good Counsel, Pius XI High School and the University of Wisconsin and along the way showed an interest in and talent for art.

Her passing has left a void in our lives that will never go away but her memory will last in our hearts forever. Emma was a funny and cherubic daughter and sister but she blossomed as the mother of Jeremy, whose curiosity and compassion will always remind us of her.

In her memory a fund has been set up in the name of her son Jeremy Dudek. Contributions must be in that name.

Emma, words cannot express how much this world is going to miss you. It was always so cool running into you around town, over the years, catching up, and just seeing how we had grown as people. The last time I ran into you when I was working at Grant was so cool. I feel lucky to have known you, and to have seen and felt how your laughter could light up a room. From our concerts and ugly sweaters at the holidays, to our ladies nights and Chill on the Hill... High school and college years aside, Emma you were my first “mom friend.” I’ll never forget strawberry picking with you and JJ the day before Peter’s baby shower or our Metro Market hangs to chat about the kiddos. Emma was a girl you couldn’t forget about. Even though life got in the way and we lost touch I will always remember your laugh and your hilarious personality.
