Dorothy Dean Naylor died peacefully in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 14, 2020, at the age of 89.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Billie Hawkins, and son Michael Griffin. She had two granddaughters, four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
Dorothy was born on July 13, 1930, in DeKalb, Mississippi to Roy and Cordelia McCallum. She lived on a farm with her three sisters and five brothers. The family was dedicated to taking care of their family farm. She is survived by her two sisters, Dorris Green and Elois Adams.
Dorothy relocated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1948. She married Robert Naylor on January 9, 1959. She was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness and was baptized in July 1964 .
Dorothy was classy and one of a kind. She always believed in being best dressed, by displaying her classy pearls. She enjoyed cooking, listening to jazz music, dancing, and hosting people at her house for a fun meal. She was a generous individual who loved reading and who was passionate about sharing her love for Jehovah. She was an active and dedicated member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
