Clif always welcomed us to the dock on the weekends with a smile or a fun story. He was willing to jump in, fix things, and help out! We enjoyed many laughs in n the river. He will be very missed. Sending hugs and love to The Orphals.

Clif and I spent over 8 years of our lives together. I was attracted to his kind, gentle and thoughtful spirit. His heart was huge, towered only by his creative handiwork. He was a terrifically talented woodworker whose creations continue to provide enjoyment and functionality to those who were lucky enough to have shared in his gifts. I have loved Clif and will never forget the wonderful times we experienced together. My heart aches for Chris, Julie, Christeeda, David and the entire family. I know that all of us who knew and loved Clif will miss him terribly. I wish you peaceful rest, my Dear!

Clif was a member of the Chris-Craft Commander Club since 2001. He and his family attended many rendezvous and hosted the 2006 Big River Rendezvous in Dubuque, Iowa. He leaves a legacy of love for family, Chris-Craft Commanders, boating, woodworking and craftsmanship. Together we will remember his contributions to our passion and love of all things about Chris-Craft Commanders. We cherish the many years of memories. Our lives are richer having known Clif. He is enjoying some much calmer seas in the great beyond. We wish him well. To Clif’s family and friends: May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. Clif, we bid you, "Hail and Farewell!" shipmate, until we drop anchor beside you at the Last Great Rendezvous.

Clif was an exceptional individual. Talented and caring. We shared a long life together and always cared for each other. Life had its moments, but plenty of fun and laughter. He's left a legacy of knowledge and material items that will live on. I learned a great deal about cars, tools, woodworking, plumbing, etc. He was definitely a good teacher. He will be missed but remain in our memories forever.
