For My Mother
You were the light in every room,
A laugh, a spark, a vibrant bloom.
With grace and fire, you lived your way,
A soul too bold for skies of gray.
You danced through life with fearless pride,
With joy and truth, you never tried to hide.
You left a mark, both deep and wide,
On every heart you stood beside.
Now silence falls where laughter rang,
But in my heart, your voice echoes hang.
Your spirit will live in all I do—
A part of me that’s always you.
I miss you more than words can say,
But the love will never fade away.
So I’ll keep walking, strong and free,
Just like you taught me to be.
Rest well ma, no more suffering or pain,
You’re safe in God’s arms, where peace will remain.
Love your baby girl
