Brenda A. Davis April 23, 1953 – March 23, 2025
Brenda A. Davis, a woman of faith, strength, and unwavering love for her family, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2025, at the age of 71.
Born on April 23, 1953, Brenda gave her life to the Lord early and held fast to her faith throughout every chapter of her life. Her relationship with God was personal and strong. She remained rooted in her belief until the very end.
Brenda now rejoins her daughter, Felecia Davis; her parents, Dorothy Smith and William Colbert; and her sister, Sheila Smith, in eternal rest. This reunion brings peace to those who love her.
She leaves behind her two sons, Thomas Davis Jr. and Almon Madden, who will continue to carry her legacy forward. Brenda was a proud and loving grandmother to ten grandchildren: Jordan Kilwine, Thomas “Tre” Kinlow, Paisley (Princeton) Lucas, Alexis (Mason) Hope, Myah Davis, Iryana Madden, Amanda Davis, Alaina Davis, Chance Davis, and Almon Madden Jr. Her joy expanded with the blessing of six great-grandchildren, who all brought her much light and happiness.
Brenda is also survived by her brothers, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close family members who cherished her deeply. She was more than a relative, she was a constant presence and a solace to so many. Her family ties ran deep, and her love will always reach across generations.
Brenda found joy in the simple things: gathering her family, sharing home-cooked meals, and simply being surrounded by the people she loved most. She showed her love with her time, her care, and her presence. Her home was a place of warmth, and her spirit left an imprint on everyone who knew her.
In her final days, Brenda was surrounded by love, the same love she spent a lifetime giving. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, and her legacy of faith and family will continue to grow through each life she touched.
There will never be another like her.
