(Ne Gehrke) Age 44, was unexpectedly called to the Lord on August 20th, 2016.  Beloved wife of Dan Van Ert.  Loving mother to children Amanda, Abigail, and David.  Cherished daughter of Karen and the late Douglas Gehrke.  Caring sister to Matthew (Nikki-lyn) Gehrke.  Beth is further survived by her grandfather, aunts, uncles, cousins and her extended family at Chosun Tae Kwon Do Academy.

Beth’s confirmation passage is Hebrews 13:5, Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “never will I leave you; never will I forsake you”.

She truly lived her life by these words, and the spirit of the Lord never left her side.  Through her work as a teacher at St. Paul’s and as an Instructor at Chosun, she became an integral part of the Franklin community.  Her positive attitude and loving spirit touched many lives, young and old.  Her memory will always remain in our hearts.
