Audrey Boll (nee Quade), 91, was born to Eternal Life on Saturday, November 8, 2025, joining her beloved husband, Bob. Loving mother of Thomas (Maureen) and Arlene (Dave) Gallenberger. Dear grandmother to Tommy (Megan) Boll, Jessica (Nick) Farnan, Amanda (Matt) Kirner, Katie (Michael) Wineman, Rose, Danny Gallenberger, and adoring great-grandmother to Sammy, Johnny, and Mary Wineman. Audrey was also a prayerful supporter for a special family. Preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Agnes (nee Grabowski). Further survived by many family and friends.

Audrey was a New Year’s baby, born in 1934 to Albert and Agnes Quade. She was an only child, but since her mom had many siblings, there were often cousins to run around and spend time with. And of course, neighborhood friends. She often tells the story of the time when everyone was quarantined due to a TB outbreak. Audrey and a backyard friend would sneak out to play together.

Upon high school graduation, Audrey was a part of an office pool at Cutler Hammer. Meeting and marrying the love of her life, Bob, on June 2nd, 1956, they went on to have 2 children. It was mutually decided that Audrey would stay home with Tom and Arlene, and this began her adventure into motherhood. Raising two children and managing the household was her full-time job. Being a homebody herself, Audrey excelled at these tasks. In between these duties, she enjoyed watching her SOAPS, reading, and feeding her family. When Bob’s health required a stricter diet, his loving wife stepped in and enabled him to live a happy, full life. Family dinners were a big highlight, especially when she served her chop suey. And it is widely known that Audrey had an enormous sweet-tooth, with chocolate being the sweet of choice. She always had a bowl of chocolates out, encouraging others to take some. Audrey also relished her once a year grasshopper ice cream drink on her birthday.

As the family grew with added grandchildren, Audrey embraced them all, babysitting often and loving every minute of it. You could see her adoring smile every time she looked at them, and her love, hugs, and kisses were free-flowing. Great-grandchildren were on the way in the blink of an eye with Audrey once again displaying her adoring smile. In more recent years, Audrey was frustrated that she couldn’t physically be of more help, but with her strong faith, she always said: “If I can’t help you in other ways, I can always pray for you.” And that she did. Her prayers helped to support many families and friends. Her faith was so important to her, praying daily rosaries for a purpose or just because she loved Mary so much. And in her final hours, when she was unable to pray, family joined together to pray the rosary for her. Audrey is truly in the arms of her Savior whom she loved so much. We will miss her, but will always be grateful for her love. “Nobody’s home!!”

Visitation at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, 734 Glenview Avenue, Wauwatosa on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 from 12:00PM – 1:00PM. Mass of Christian Burial 1:00 PM-2:00 PM. Entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery, 7301 West Nash Street, Milwaukee, 2:30 PM.
