Jeffrey Blane Eaton was born on September 25, 1957, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Leo and Janice Eaton. Jeff attended Sussex Hamilton High School in Sussex, WI. He was a devoted member of Bethany Baptist Church in Milwaukee and later Menomonee Falls Church of God, where he faithfully portrayed Jesus each Easter, sharing his faith through service and example. Our hearts were shattered on January 5, 2026, when Jeff passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a legacy rooted in faith, hard work, love, and laughter.
Jeff lived by what mattered most to him: his work, his family, and his sense of humor. His career began early, working alongside his father at the family business, Eaton’s Asphalt Service, where he learned the values of dedication, craftsmanship, and pride in honest labor. In 1997, Jeff carried that legacy forward by founding Eaton’s Seal Coating and Maintenance. Known for his reliability and his willingness to give others a chance, Jeff believed deeply in opportunity, accountability, and building something that would last.
Family was the foundation of Jeff’s life. He cherished time spent fishing, traveling, recording family moments, and gathering around the table for games, stories, and laughter. He was a protector, a provider, and a steady source of strength for those he loved. His sharp wit, infectious laughter, and generous heart brought light to every room he entered.
A loyal Wisconsin sports fan, Jeff loved cheering for the Green Bay Packers, the Milwaukee Bucks, and the Milwaukee Brewers. He also had a deep appreciation for old-school cars, valuing their craftsmanship and character. When he wasn’t working, Jeff expressed his personality through his style, whether dressed sharp in a suit or relaxed in a Hawaiian shirt paired with his favorite Jordans with a baseball cap.
Jeff is survived by his mother, Janice Eaton; his children, Marquest Nutt, Jefflyn (Kwamar) Brown, and Blane Womack; eight grandchildren, Joel Williams II, Jalajah Steward, Kwame Brown, Jaelin Rhodes-Clark, Jordin Stanford, Nicholas Stanford Jr., Journi Stanford and Markeese White, one great grand-son Baby Falco and his siblings, Leonard Eaton, Karla McBride, and Karen Cubbie. He was preceded in death by his father, Leo Eaton, and his daughter, Jennifer Rhodes.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Krause Funeral Home, 7001 West Brown Deer Road, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with Visitation from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by the Service at 12:00 PM.
