Evelyn “Evie” Scharlau

January 11, 1947 - November 20, 2025

Evelyn “Evie” Grace Scharlau (nee Trecek) went to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, November 20, 2025, with her husband of 35 years, E. Richard “Rick” by her side.

Survived by sons, Jason and Eric, granddaughter Kasidy Scharlau, sister Sylvia Dudley, sisters-in-law Keri Marciniak and Mary Morris.

Preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Barbara Trecek, sister Susan and parents-in-law, Edward and Kathereine Scharlau.

Evie was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on 1-11-47 and taught Business in the Waukesha Public School System. She was a member of the New Berlin Free Methodist Church.

Evie’s kind and gentle spirit will be missed by family and friends.

Immediate family will have private service and burial.
