Peacefully passed into Eternal Life on October 29, 2016, age 85. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Jeanne J. nee Ohanian of 61 years and his parents Raymond C. and Virginia H. nee Meyer. Loving father of Mary (Steve) Dicks, Michael (Anne), John (Mary), James (Chris), Richard (Susan) and Daniel (Jill). Brother of Robert and the late Vernon (Shirley). Proud grandfather of Erin, Michael (Leigh), Andrew, Ashley, Nick, Michelle (Brian), Elizabeth (Jess), Joe (Danielle), Sam, Michael (Tiffany), Adam (Kiri), Tracy, Christina, Rachel, Christian, Daniel and 13 great-grandchildren. Further loved by other relatives and friends.

Visitation at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 7963 South 116th Street, Franklin on Monday, November 7, 2016, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Private interment St. Martin of Tours Parish Cemetery.

Don was a 1948 graduate of Pius High School paying his entire tuition with his paper route, served in the Air Force for 4 years, West Allis Fire Department for 33 years, past co-owner of Dan Realty, realtor for Trustway Homes, past president of West Allis Fire Fighters Local 1004 and he was passionately involved in the fight for workers rights.

Don enjoyed fishing, golfing, crossword puzzles and nature.
