Almida Treu

(nee Figur) Went to her heavenly home on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at 11:01 AM, age 90.  She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and a faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family, friends, and church community.

Preceded in death by her loving husband Willi, son Craig Treu, parents Adolf and Emma Figur, and her second husband Robert Meyer. Almida is survived by her children Marjorie and Bruce (Karen), grandson Marc, and sister Martha (Guenther) Gensecke. Further loved  by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Almida was born on February 19, 1932, in Ukraine and immigrated to the US in 1952.  She enjoyed reading, gardening, and traveling.  She was especially proud of earning her Christian Counseling degree at the age of 64.  Her greatest desire was that people learn about a loving Jesus.  She was especially gifted at being a dedicated prayer warrior.

A private immediate family committal service was held at Wisconsin Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to help fulfill biblical prophecy in Israel through Jentezen Franklin Ministries.
