Condolences for Albert Vincent Williams

I am the youngest son of Al's brother Charlie (Sonny), who in the summer of 1974, my sophomore year in high school, came to live with Al and his then family. I am very grateful for the support he gave me when I really needed it, and the work ethic I gained from working with Al in the restaurant business. The biggest gift from that time with him, one of the truly greatest gifts of my life, was coming to live with his step-son Hansi Herzog. He became my brother and best friend, and we remain so close to this day. Had Al not welcomed me into his home, I would not have had this amazing gift. Thank you, Al. May your soul rest in peace, and all your family accept my prayers and condolences.

I went to school with Al. My husband Larry (nephew) & I graduated together. We also lived a block apart: we grew up together. All the kids in the neighborhood spent many hours playing cards in his mom & dad's basement. The rest of the Larry Williams family send our love & condolences.

My sincere condolences to the family of my Uncle, Al Williams. I am Jim Williams' oldest sister, and Sonny, Charles Jr. was my father, who passed in 1990. Al was just ten years older than me, so he was off to serve in the Air Force when I was old enough to remember him. It was always fun when he came back on leave from Germany to cook some wonderful recipes and whip up the most delicious salads. I was always proud of him and his military service. Yet circumstances which developed as I grew up caused us to live far apart & I never had a chance to know him well. He lived a full & long life and may you cherish the best memories of Al. May his soul now rest easy and in peace. Love, Sue Facebook: SK William's Author
