Condolences for Donna Marie Barnes

12-10-2021 Karen Barnes passed away today. Look for her mom and dad. Welcome her into the gates of Heaven I saw strength, determination and courage from my sister in law Karen. She realized her body was failing and Karen choose for no intervention. I believe she is letting us keep her comfortable, oxygen so she doesn't have to labor breathing. Morphine for the pain so her loved ones don't have to hear her moan and grown and suffer. But the strength to stay at home where she is the most familiar and comfortable with her loving husband Robert. Its her way of saying goodbye, stay strong and carry on. Be there for one another. Dying is a tough subject, we don't want to appear cavalier. All around should just respect her wishes, keep strong and at peace with one another. It's like let me go, but let me know, you were all there for me... taking the final walk...you were right there beside me.

I'm very sorry to hear about Donna passing! I have many good memories of the time we worked together @ the Ridge Cinema! Quite recently I ran into Donna @ the Ridge and I ended up with a BIG hug, despite Covid! She will be missed.

Aunt Donna was a woman to look up to. She was fearless! She taught me to drive. She always had change in her billfold for soda. She loved to laugh, loved her family, and loved God. I think there will be a Racko game happening very soon now that she is reunited with her sisters, brother, and parents. What a woman! My love goes out to the Barnes family.
