Condolences for Edwin R. Ahrenhoerster

I am Wayne, the deer hunter in the back woods. Ed was a customer at my barber shop in Hartford, for at least 40 years. many of those yarns and excellent jokes came from me, and Ed swapping tales. Great guy, great wisdom shared, great sense of humor,: I thoroughly loved and enjoyed Ed. Will miss him dearly. From October thru December, I spent many an hours in Ed & Marillyn's back woods. A place of peace and tranquility! I hope I can always maintain a friendship with Marilyn, the kind I had with Ed. God bless Ed. May he rest in peace!!!

One of my favorite memories of my Godfather is being at his house when I was a kid and sleeping over with my other siblings and Eddie, Katy and Greg. I loved the smell of Ed’s pipe and just hanging out at the house!
