Condolences for John Richard Harrison
I knew John through the brewing community. Loved stopping to see him at Delafield Brewhaus. RIP brother...
Our condolences for John’s family, we feel very lucky to have met him - a truly kind soul.
John will always be missed his kind heart and happy soul. Slainte my friend!
When I think of John I think ‘celebration’. Oktoberfests, Beer Camp, just a couple of people hanging out, whatever, John always found a way to make it a celebration. Yo-HOOO my friend, RIP.
As a home brewer, John participated in the "Blessing of the Bock" from the beginning. As the crowd grew a larger venue was needed. We chose the War Memorial. Homebrewers were admitted for half price if they donated a 6pack of their beer. Things got a bit rowdy. I remember watching "beer waterfalls" coming down the main stairway. Rushing to remedy this problem, I discovered John Harrison manning a mop. He waved me away telling me he'd handle it. As I told friends the other day, he was a good guy and a great brewer.
Ishy and I express our deepest condolences, he will be sorely missed by many. He was a bright spot in so many people's lives...
