William “Bill” F. Gutzmer passed peacefully at home, surrounded by family on May 30, 2021, at the age of 93. He is survived by daughter Rose Gutzmer, granddaughter Megan (Julio) Garcia, great-granddaughters Emily, Lexi, Suzie and Ellie Garcia, and multiple nieces and nephews. Further loved by other friends and relatives. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Susan, son Michael, daughter Karen, brother Robert, sisters Dorothy, and Iva Grace, as well as his parents Lucille and Carl Gutzmer.
Bill worked for A.O. Smith for more than 38 years. A naturally talented craftsmen, he filled his off-work hours with a variety of creative pursuits including woodworking and leather-crafting projects. Bill’s community involvements included supervising youth in Junior Achievement, and being a Mason with the Lincoln Masonic Order.
