Susan Lapczynski

Susan was welcomed into eternal life on September 5th, 2025, at the age of 73. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Florian Lapczynski. Susan is survived by her daughter Heather (Ian) Gilbertson, along with other family and friends.

Susan was a devoted wife and caring mother. She was also a loving sister and loyal friend. She enjoyed life and had an inspiring, fighting spirit. Susan always considered herself one of the “lucky ones” to have spent 31 years married to the love of her life. Her faith and spiritual life were very important to her, and that faith carried her through both happy times and sad. Her faith and outlook on life serves as an inspiration to everyone who knew her. Susan brought a light to those she called “friend,” and everyone who crossed her path. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten. She would want those she left behind to take comfort knowing she is with our Lord and reunited with her husband.

Per Susan’s wishes, no formal service will be held. A memorial mass at St. Matthias parish will be scheduled for a later date.
