Sue Ann Fiumefreddo

(nee Allen) “The little paper lady in the white van”, born on March 9, 1948 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and grew up in Belgium, to the late Mary Ann Allen (Fitzgibbon) and the late Ralph Allen, passed away on April 16, 2018, age 70, after a long battle from cancer. Sue graduated from Port Washington High School in 1966. She worked at The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel as a newspaper distributor for 27 years, until retiring in 2014, to help her son at the family bar business. Sue enjoyed gardening, shopping, crafts, sewing, and feeding animals. Beloved wife of Salvatore Fiumefreddo. Loving mother of Peter (Martha Fisher) and Sally Calvillo (Marco Calvillo Espinosa). Dear sister of Betsy Allen-McPhedran. Proud grandmother of Alicia Kay, Angelo Calvillo, Vincent Fiumefreddo, and Gianna Fiumefreddo. Fond cousin of Laura Dosset, Ellyn Gorski, and Anne Ernst. Preceded in death by her devoted dogs, April, Sam, Nikki, Sadie, Princess, Rusty, and Trixie, her special cats, Felix and Pasha, and pets, Thumper and Pedro. Further loved by many friends and acquaintances from over the years of delivering papers and new and old patrons of long time family owned bar Fremo’s Tavern in Milwaukee. She did not want a service and wished to be cremated.

At a later date we will have a celebration of her life with family and close friends.  May she never be forgotten and may good memories of her bring comfort to you.
