Passed suddenly Nov 2, 2020, age 66.

Loving father of Dannon (Mortimer) and Desiree’. Loving grandpa of Giada and Armani. Survived by his loving sister Penny (Popeye). Preceded in death by his parents Buddy and Marge (nee Arent) Dickey. Followed by his sister Karen (Donny), sister Reggie (Keith) , brother David (Gwen) and brother Bob ( Krissy).

Smokey will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Special mention to his ” Brett’s Farmhouse” family and friends. ” The good ol’ days”

Smokey had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed watching Jeopardy, playing Bingo and enjoying a cold Budweiser.

Our family would like to thank Aurora St. Luke’s and Zilber Hospice for their kindness and care of Smokey.

Smokey did not want a service. Due to COVID a celebration of Smokey’s life will be at a later time. Please check back on this website for updated information early 2021.

I will always remember Smokey for his Irish wit and humor! May these qualities live in his girls and grandchildren! I think we all could laugh at ourselves a little more and let go of the past mistakes and move forward like he learned to do. I express my deepest condolences to his entire family and thank God for time we had Smokey in our lives!
